Rather than creating employment, ‘Battle of Mind’ aims to promote BATB. With different advertisements and promotions, in last 11 years (2004 - 2014), BATB has employed only 71 individuals whereas the participants were 15,000 but it has spent funds worth crores in organizing road shows, travelling, entertainment, and media advertisement. To promote the brand, attract the youths in smoking and manipulate the policy makers, BATB every year organizes the death-marketing. This year BATB has already started the registration of ‘Battle of Mind 2015’ which will be continued till October 15, 2015. To stop the illegal competition legal steps by the government is a must. Besides, the anti-tobacco platforms should also raise voice against the issue. |
