Death Marketing-1PMI runs aggressive death-marketing
Multinational tobacco giant Philip Morris International (PMI) is conducting its illegal marketing barely by violating the law. PMI has engaged youths wearing T-shirts symbolizing the ‘Marlboro Red’ cigarette and using leaflets of the same category. The attractive decorations and style is attracting all ages of people, especially the youths. Notably, following the law, a rigorous imprisonment for less than three months or a monetary penalty less than Tk 100,000 or the both is considered as penalty for the law violation and it the violations is repeated the penalty will be doubled accordingly. Such aggressive activities should be stopped by implementing the law. |
