Sale of E-cigarettes Online: Youth Targeted

A Facebook-based campaign has been using "Please Stop Smoking" slogan to encourage the youth to use e-cigarettes and vaping products. Such businesses are going on full swing online. It should be noted that considering the threat to public health, a total of 32 countries have already banned e-cigarettes and vaping. Bangladesh has also taken the initiative to ban the production, import and sale of e-cigarettes, vaping, heated tobacco products and other similar products through an amendment of the tobacco control law. The draft amendment must be finalized as soon as possible to safeguard the youth.
