Unique Tactic to Promote DERBY!

British American Tobacco Bangladesh (BATB) has adopted a unique promotional tactic that makes use of different buzzwords popular with the youth with a view to alluring the latter into smoking its brand. The company has been circulating display boards with sentences such as "Let's make a plan", "It won't be fun without you, guys", “Come to the tea-stall in the afternoon” etc. As per the tobacco control law,
advertisement, and promotion of tobacco products at points-of-sale is banned and a punishable offence. The strict implementation of the law must be ensured to put an end to such advertising and campaigns.
