JTI Using Price Demonstration to Promote Sticks

JTI has been promoting its death trade in Dhaka and the rest of the country by pasting attractive "price declaration" posters of its Sheikh 100s brand. The main motive the company is so eager to inform smokers about prices is that it provides an opportunity to promote brand name. It should be noted that as per the 5 section of the tobacco control law, any promotion at the points-of-sale is strictly prohibited and a punishable offense. Such aggressive promotional campaign by JTI, violating TC law, must be stopped.
