Death Marketing -2JTI violating tobacco control law
Wearing t-shirts with the logo of Camel cigarettes and holding tablet devices, company agents are sitting at different points of sale, with the sole target of encouraging existing smokers to switch to Camel cigarettes or to create new smokers. Simultaneously, they are collecting the names, phone numbers, and vital information of smokers for carrying out future marketing activities. Such activities are clear violations of existing tobacco control law which considers it as a punishable offense. So, effective measure is needed to put an end to such aggressive promotional campaigns of JTI that is a violation of tobacco control law. |
