BAT high officials – Health Minister meeting held
A high-level delegation of BAT-Bangladesh has held meeting with the Honorable Health Minister today at 1pm at the secretariat violating the international treaty Framework Convention on Tobacco Control (FCTC) article 5.3 (photo attached). The meeting held more than one hour while the Tobacco Control Rules are at the finalization stage (i.e. waiting for vetting). The BAT delegation comprised of its Chairman, Managing Director, Head of CSR and other higher officials.But at the end of the meeting, the Minister and BAT Officials refused to disclose anything about the meeting.
