Tobacco Growers are in Absolute Dead Loss due to Company’s ill Tactic

Over hundred of tobacco growers were assembled together against the tobacco in the Chasi Somabesh (farmers’ Meet) at Tiper Bazar village of Sarpukur union at Aditmari upazila in Lalmonirhat, just near the Dhaka Tobacco Company on June 4, and they were committed against the tobacco farming, and they will never farming tobacco in future. They cultivated tobacco on huge paddy lands this year as they were encouraged, supported and patronized by the tobacco companies and their agents. Finally they were cheated by the companies as they were dominated to sale their yield at low rate that is below of production cost.
